Mission
Shamaj, Gram & Shahar Unnayan Sangstha(SGSUS) is a non-profit, charitable and non-governmental development agency) starts its journey in recently with a view to reducing the curse of poverty, hunger, malnutrition, and sufferings of disaster-affected helpless people. It is dedicated to serving distressed humanity irrespective of caste, creed, race, color, religion, and other identities. Poverty alleviation is one of its major activities by providing capital support and technical training to the poor and ultra-poor community members for running income and employment generation activities. Alongside, education, healthcare, safe water supply, sanitation, hygiene education, disaster preparedness, orphan support, construction of mosques, orphanages, relief, and rehabilitation are being implemented since its inception. The beneficiaries are offered occasional assistance as well during Holy Ramadan and the two Eid festivals through the distribution of food, clothing items, Qurbani meat, and cash help, etc.
Vision
To gain divine pleasure and satisfaction of Almighty through serving His creations and establish a society free from all sorts of injustice & discrimination. Shamaj,Gram & Shahar Unnayan Sangstha(SGSUS has been serving distressed humanity irrespective of caste, creed, race, color, religion, ethnicity, and nationality. Universal primary education, Technical & Vocational training, Income Generating Program, Islamic Microfinance, Healthcare, Drinking Water, sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation, Orphan Support, Ramadan Support, Eid-Gift, Qurbani Support, etc. are the major areas of intervention.
