That is why it puts due emphasis on educating the poor people for their improvement in life status. . Shamaj,Gram & Shahar Unnayan Sangstha(SGSUS) has intervened in the education sector to restrain further deterioration of the current situation. It promotes formal, non-formal, technical education as well as hands-on practical training for the school going students, dropouts, unskilled youths, and illiterate adult people.

Many people don’t have a proper shelter in Bangladesh, Each year people lose their life due to the extreme weather condition. They are continuously suffering from the heavy wave of storm and flooding. Houses made of soil and they are not sufficient to keep out the rain and cold weather. Without a solid shelter no family could lay their head in peace through the night thinking the worse. A permanent home and shelter are one of the greatest gifts of life. We have started building in different districts in Bangladesh.

Due to the sub-tropical monsoon seasons in Bangladesh there are many storms, which causes many complications such as death, severe injury, and damage of property. leading to thousands of houses being destroyed and power supplies being cut due to the severity of the storm. As further storm is looming, Our team is on the ground with plans to distribute food and non-food items, repair housing and construct temporary shelter.We have helped emergency victims of cyclone Sidr and Savar, which was a huge tradegy and aim to help people in different parts of Bangladesh. Also, we were one of the first organization helping Rohingya refugee in Ukhia and Teknaf in Cox bazaar.

With the mercy of Allah, our main target is to distribute the majority of Zakat money towards the Family food pack and Rice bag project. We have also visualized on funding other important projects such as health care, Wheelchair and House to maximize our effort on helping as many people as we can. In the month of Ramadan we distribute most of our Zakat money to those suffering in hardship and those in need. This is the holy month filled with immense reward so donating during this time will benefit you in this Dunya and the hereafter.
